Dr. John B. Sorensen was trained in Evangelism Explosion and has been active in EE since 1991, leading hundreds of people to the Lord. Eventually, John joined the staff of EE International, first serving as Director for Ministry Advancement and then as Executive Vice President. In March of 2008, the Board of Directors voted to appoint John as the President, an office previously held exclusively by EE’s founder, Dr. D. James Kennedy.

John earned a Masters in Arts in Evangelism and a Doctor of Divinity from Knox Theological Seminary.
